Contemporary Jersey Artists
Contemporary Jersey Artists is an online community and information portal for contemporary art in Jersey. The site was designed and built by steve makes websites, incorporating a multi-user CMS which allows local artists to maintain their own profile profile pages, image galleries and blogs. The site also features a forum and commenting system so that members of the public can get involved in the community.
The site integrates with Google Maps to display the locations of galleries and exhibitions, and sophisticated image handling means artwork uploaded by users is propagated across the site in multiple sizes and formats.

Jersey Open Studios 2009
The Jersey Arts Trust's Open Studios programme gives the public access to artists' working environment, promoting understanding and appreciation of visual art. steve makes websites converted the printed brochure for the event into a fully functional website including an interactive map of the participating studios - as well as sorting out the domain registration and web hosting - all within a few days and within a tight budget.
